Turkey Sausage Veggie Pasta
Healthy, delicious and economical, what a terrific family meal!
- 1 Eat Smart Sunflower Kale Vegetable Salad Kit 12oz size
- 16-20 turkey breakfast sausage links or your choice of turkey sausage
- 12 oz bowtie pasta dry, about 4 cups
Cook pasta until al dente (or desired doneness)
While pasta is cooking, fry the turkey sausages in large skillet until done.
Remove sausage, cut into bite sized pieces and keep warm.
In same skillet, drain off any excess oil, add vegetables from Eat Smart salad kit.
Cook over medium heat until soft but still slightly crunchy about 5-8 minutes.
Add sausage and cooked pasta to the vegetables and toss together.
Stir in the Honey Dijon dressing, cranberries and sunflower seeds. Toss to combine.
